» Producer, engineer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, with more than 150 CD projects to his credit, Marc Moss is owner of Target Studios and one of the most respected producers in the mid-Atlantic region.


Born in Clarksburg, W. Va., Marc has always made music his livelihood. He opened Target Studios in 1986 while continuing to write, record and perform his own music.
In 1992, Marc released his critically acclaimed CD, “Marc Moss and the Art Farm.” Stereo Review called the CD “intelligent, extremely well-crafted and addictively tuneful.”
Marc spent the next several years performing solo at such venues as The Bitter End in New York City, The Tin Angel in Philadelphia and The Bluebird Café in Nashville. He has also performed at BMI’s Acoustic Roundup in New York City, the Philadelphia Music Conference and the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas.
After working together on various solo projects over the years, Silent Planet artists Steve Black and David Meredith began writing and recording songs with Marc in 2001. The result of this collaboration was a new band, Black/Moss/Meredith and their album “World of Wonder.”
Debuting as a duo in December 2004, Marc and his son Maxx have performed at the Blue Crab Grill in Newark, Del., the AIDS Red Ribbon Music Festival in Newark and the Delaware Music Festival in Dewey Beach, Del.
Marc currently resides in Red Hook, New York, with his wife Ency.
