» Originally from Miami, Fla., and co-founder with Ward Camp, Shane left Bad Sneakers in 1986. He worked as a recording engineer at Calliope Studios in New York City, and went on to engineer, mix and produce several gold, platinum and Grammy-winning records over the next 15 years.
Shane also established himself as a songwriter with two music publishing deals. Songs from the JeepJazz Project have been licensed to major film and television soundtracks. Shane’s music has been heard on “Oprah,” “CSI: Miami,” Home Box Office, “Chappelle’s Show” and “Access Hollywood.”
In 1995, Shane began building Web sites and exploring computer networking. By 2000, his Web and networking clients were proving much more profitable than the music business, and he never looked back. Computer consulting has taken him around the world from Baghdad to Okinawa to Las Vegas.
Shane lives in Montclair, N.J., with his wife and two daughters. As an Altiris Authorized Consultant, he specializes in helping organizations deploy the Altiris enterprise networking tools and implement ITIL asset management best practices. Shane’s various enterprises are chronicled on the Web at www.jeepjazz.com.
Shane still makes music from time to time and has a recording studio and computer networking lab at home.
